"Finished" is a word which here defines a sense of relief which results from the proper completion of all component parts.

"Finished" is a word which acts as a gleam on the horizon, a fruit always just out of reach, a nagging in the back of your skull which can do & often does anything - from 'give you just a little push to continue' to 'stand as an unerrant wall which guards its treasure like a dragon' - as its whimsy decides.

"Finished" is a word which does not apply here.
